December 4, Associated Press – (Tennessee) CSX Transportation paid over $431,000 to local agencies in Blount County and the cities of Maryville and Alcoa December 4 as reimbursement to officials who responded to the July 1 evacuation and cleanup that lasted 2 day after a train carrying hazardous material derailed and caught fire in eastern Tennessee.
